Watch Pharoahe Monch perform his new track ‘Clap’ live on radio in London

Pharoahe Monch has been over in London playing a number of shows at the Jazz Cafe in Camden with Jean Grae.  He stepped into Shortee Blitz and DJ MK’s Hip Hop show on Kiss 100 and gave us a taste of his upcoming album W.A.R by performing a the track ‘Clap’ right there and then. Produced by Australia’s own M- Phazes the track sounds bangin’ with Pharoahe getting deep while still tearing up the flow like only Pharoahe can.  “Clap is focused on American corruption and police brutality but was particularly inspired by what happened to Aiyana Jones, Oscar Grant and Sean Bell who were – “All young black people who were murdered by police officers in the States”

We will still have to wait a while for the new album W.A.R(We Are Renegades) which is due to be released in February 2011.
