Just when I thought that April Fools jokes were now solely resigned to bogus internet news stories about various celebrities meeting their end, the staff at College Humor set up a pretty damn good prank in NYC yesterday. They decided to convince the burger loving citizens of NYC that In-N-Out Burger, the West Coast burger chain with an international cult following, was setting up stumps in the big apple. They plastered empty store fronts and hired actors to dress as employees and hand out fliers. They managed to convince a lot of unsuspecting burger fiends until In-N-Out Burger made an official statement and outed them. Looks like you will have to be content with Five Guys for now.
